Privacy Policy

Last updated: 26 May 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how CloudEzee Technologies Limited ("CloudEzee", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our website, services, or applications — including any integrations with third-party platforms such as LinkedIn.

1. Who We Are

CloudEzee Technologies Limited is a company registered in England and Wales (Company No. 16771308), with its registered office at 25a Duckworth Lane, Bradford, England, BD9 5ES.

For any privacy-related queries, contact us at: contact@cloudezee.tech

2. Information We Collect

We may collect the following categories of information:

  • Contact information — name, email address, company name, and phone number provided via our contact or consultation forms.
  • Usage data — pages visited, time spent, browser type, and IP address, collected automatically via Google Analytics.
  • LinkedIn authorisation data — when you authorise our application via LinkedIn OAuth, we receive your LinkedIn profile name, public profile identifier (URN), and access tokens necessary to perform actions on your behalf (such as posting content to your LinkedIn profile or company pages you administer). We do not store your LinkedIn password. Tokens are stored securely and used solely to fulfil the authorised actions.
  • Communications — the content of emails or messages you send to us.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To respond to enquiries and deliver services you have requested.
  • To post content to LinkedIn on your behalf, where you have explicitly authorised our application to do so.
  • To analyse website usage and improve our content (via Google Analytics — see Section 6).
  • To comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. LinkedIn API Usage

CloudEzee uses the LinkedIn API to publish content to LinkedIn profiles and company pages on behalf of authorised users. This section specifically addresses our use of LinkedIn member data in compliance with the LinkedIn API Terms of Use.

What we access:

  • Your LinkedIn public profile name and unique profile identifier (URN), obtained via OpenID Connect.
  • The ability to create posts on your personal LinkedIn profile (w_member_social).
  • The ability to create posts on LinkedIn company pages you administer (w_organization_social).

What we do NOT access:

  • Your LinkedIn connections, messages, or private communications.
  • Your email address or any contact information from LinkedIn.
  • Any LinkedIn data beyond what is explicitly listed above.

How LinkedIn data is used:

  • Your profile identifier is used solely to identify which LinkedIn account to post to.
  • Posts are created only from content you have explicitly reviewed and approved within our system.
  • LinkedIn data is never sold, shared with third parties, or used for advertising purposes.
  • LinkedIn data is never used to train machine learning models.

Storage and security:

  • OAuth access tokens are stored in a secure, access-controlled environment on your own systems.
  • Tokens are used exclusively for the purpose of publishing approved content on your behalf.
  • Tokens expire after 60 days and must be renewed via re-authorisation.

Revoking access:

You may revoke our application's access to your LinkedIn account at any time by visiting LinkedIn's Permitted Services settings and removing CloudEzee Technologies. Upon revocation, we will delete any stored tokens associated with your account within 30 days.

5. Legal Basis for Processing (UK GDPR)

  • Consent — for LinkedIn OAuth authorisations and marketing communications.
  • Legitimate interests — for website analytics and improving our services.
  • Contractual necessity — to deliver services you have engaged us for.
  • Legal obligation — where required by law.

6. Cookies & Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use our website. This involves setting cookies that collect anonymised usage data (page views, session duration, device type). No personally identifiable information is shared with Google Analytics.

You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking via the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

7. Data Retention

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this policy, or as required by law. LinkedIn access tokens are retained until you revoke access or we no longer require them. Contact form submissions are retained for up to 2 years.

8. Your Rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Request correction of inaccurate data.
  • Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten").
  • Object to or restrict our processing of your data.
  • Data portability.
  • Withdraw consent at any time (without affecting prior processing).

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at contact@cloudezee.tech. We will respond within 30 days.

9. Third-Party Services

Our website and services interact with the following third-party platforms, each governed by their own privacy policies:

10. Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data from unauthorised access, loss, or misuse. OAuth tokens are stored in access-controlled environments and never exposed publicly.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
